Supernatural Sutras: A Solstice Initiation with Elizabeth Rowan – G26110502
Supernatural Sutras™: A Solstice Initiation is a winter solstice immersion for seekers standing at thresholds of transition and transformation, attuned to mystery and magic, death and rebirth, and the quiet potentiality of the darkest nights of the year. Set in the high desert of Ghost Ranch, this immersive weekend invites you into a ceremonial descent, where ritual, release and inner fire yield reflection, renewal, and return to light.
This solstice-season rite merges movement, mysticism, and the otherworldly through a spellbinding journey into Yoga Sutra Book Three. Here we explore the magical and mysterious siddhis—the supernatural powers said to arise in yogis—alongside the Aghori, the taboo-breaking yogis who harness death to access divinity. Under the near new moon, we illuminate how death and dissolution can be embraced and transmuted into reverence, opening and awakening.
Experience embodied inquiry, storytelling, yoga, sacred ritual, and contemplative practice aligned with outdoor exploration and the cosmology of winter. After-dark fire ritual, collective ceremonial creation, and rites of death and rebirth mark our pre-solstice passage, and honor what is laid to rest and what returns anew.
Supernatural Sutras offers a portal to the deeper, mysterious dimensions of yoga, alchemy and ritual, where winter becomes a womb, stillness sharpens our senses, and the Unseen reveals itself when we harness darkness for light.
Join me in the devotion that is dying to all that obscures your inner gold in this seasonal ceremonial descent, high desert-style.
