Healing Through Land and Improvisation
Saturday, December 5, 2026 | 7:00 PM | Free Admission
Celebrate the holiday season with an unforgettable evening at Ghost Ranch!
Join us for a special free performance of Diné jazz musician and bandleader Delbert Anderson’s The Long Walk: 1,674 Days, a composition reflecting on the Navajo’s forced relocation from 1863 to 1868. Performed at venues across the country, this durational work invites participants into a meditative experience of remembrance and connection to Navajo history and culture.
The evening continues with a live performance by the Delbert Anderson Quartet, featuring Delbert Anderson, Robert Muller, Evan Suiter, and Khalill Brown. Blending jazz, improvisation, and Indigenous musical traditions, the quartet creates a dynamic and original sound that celebrates cultural connection, creativity, and the power of music to bring people together.
Gather with friends, family, and community for this special holiday event in the extraordinary landscape of Ghost Ranch. All are welcome, and admission is free.
Do you want more time with Delbert Anderson? Consider joining his weekend workshop on HealingThrough Land and Improvisation.
