Sketch the morning

This tour and time to sketch and photograph takes us out into the landscape that Georgia O’Keeffe loved to paint. The O’Keeffe house and this landscape are located in a private area of Ghost Ranch only accessible on our Georgia O’Keeffe Landscape Tour, Trail Ride, and now on this new tour which allows artists extra time after the tour. While traveling by van to the places where artists can set up we will look at some of her paintings begun in these red hills and colorful cliffs. Afterwards there will be 2 + hours to sketch, paint, and take photographs. Intended for artists with some training but everyone is welcome.

Please bring your own materials and portable equipment. A sketchbook, watercolors, pastels, pencils and/or charcoal would be best. Also a broad brimmed hat, water, and sunscreen.
