Peace in the Eye of the Storm with Lucia Vinograd & Judy Piazza – G26080108
This retreat offers a restorative weekend of music, movement, and meditation.
Finding a sense of calm and inner steadiness while staying aware of current events can feel like a delicate dance. Even when we try to limit its impact, the turbulence of the world has a way of seeping in—showing up in our dreams, our nervous systems, and our overall sense of well-being. Maintaining balance in such times requires a generous practice of self-care.
This weekend gathering offers a sanctuary of tranquil inspiration through music, movement, and meditation. Together we will slow down and enter a quieter rhythm—breathing deeply, listening inward, and allowing the noise of the outer world to soften. In this space, and in the wonder of Ghost Ranch, the mind can settle, and the body can remember its natural ease. This retreat is an invitation to return to the rhythmic still point at the center of our own being.
Judith Piazza will bring her soulful musical gifts to evoke the healing power of sound. Her offerings include devotional songs, kirtan, mantra, and rhythm. Drawing inspiration from global traditions of music and healing, she weaves together voice, guitar, dulsitar™, didgeridoo, Native flutes, handpan, Tibetan bowls, and drums to create an immersive sonic landscape.
Lucia Vinograd will guide participants on an inward journey toward tranquility of mind and body through gentle movement, guided mindfulness meditation, and rhythmic waves of breath—simple yet powerful practices that quiet the mind, soften the body, and open a doorway to deeper presence.
