Life Worth Living with Angela Williams Gorrell – G26040401

Date

Apr 26 2026 – May 02 2026

Reimagine your life with clarity and courage. Walk away with a renewed vision, rooted values, and next steps aligned with what truly matters. When life no longer fits—or when the old path dissolves and a new one hasn’t yet emerged—it can feel
disorienting. This retreat offers a sacred space to pause, reflect, and begin again with clarity, courage, and spiritual depth.

Rooted in insights from my book Braving Difficult Decisions and the most popular Humanities course at Yale, Life Worth Living, this immersive retreat is designed for those in seasons of transition: retirement, burnout, career change, empty nest, spiritual shift, or simply a quiet knowing that something more is calling.

Over the course of our days together, you will: reconnect with who you are now, clarify your next chapter and create space for what’s ahead. Through guided reflection, soul-nourishing conversations, and creative practices like the Museum of Your Life, you’ll awaken your inner wisdom and design a vision for the life you truly want.

You’ll leave with: a clearer sense of purpose, courageous next steps and tools and practices to carry forward.

If you’ve been thinking “Something’s missing”, “I need to find myself again”, or “I just want to feel right in my own life”—this retreat is for you. Come as you are. Leave with a renewed spirit, a clearer path, and the deep knowing that you are ready for what’s next.

WHEN PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS REACH A THRESHOLD MOMENT, THEY COME TO ME.

Over seventeen years and counting, I’ve led transformational retreats, workshops, 1:1 sessions, and trainings across the U.S. and in twelve other countries.

When individuals are seeking help with a work or life transition, wanting to lead or live in a way that feels more significant, making a difficult personal decision, or needing support with healing after a heartbreaking experience, they contact me.

I’ve taught at five institutions of higher learning including Yale and Baylor University and also for a number of programs for non-degreed learners such as Berkeley Divinity School and Danbury Correctional Facility.

I have written three books: Always On, The Gravity of Joy, and Braving Difficult Decisions. My research has been featured in The New York Times, NPR, and The Washington Post.

With a Ph.D. and 24 years of experience mentoring, teaching, and leading change, whenever you’re ready, I’m here to help.
