EARTH BODY: Movement for All, offers a retreat at Ghost Ranch through gentle eco-somatic movement reconnecting the body to a sense of place through imagination, intuition, memory and multi sensory listening. Participants will enjoy a sense of renewal with creative movements inspired by expressions of the energy of the earth, such as swaying like trees in soft winds, flowing spirals of water and activation of flower-like power points throughout the body.
This 3 day retreat will be experienced at the private retreat center of Casa Del Sol, 2 miles off the main ranch in the painted desert, the exact environment that inspired legendary artist, Georgia O’Keeffe.

Led by Rulan, healing dance artist with decades of international experience and a cancer survivor. She has experienced the life-giving power of simple, restorative and intuitive movement and now extends her professional dance dedication to offer simple forms that are accessible to all.
Testimonials:
“EARTH BODY is more than a retreat—it’s a homecoming to yourself. It’s where movement becomes medicine, where the land speaks to the parts of you that words can’t reach, and where healing unfolds not just in the body, but in the heart and spirit. It’s a sacred space where you remember who you are beneath the din of the world, reconnecting with your breath, your story, and the earth itself. It’stransformative, it’s real, and it’s a gift I wish everyone could experience.”

“I went to GR for an Earth Body eco-body movement, three-day retreat with Rulan Tangen, a creator of expanse and inspiration. Our time together was full of movement, music and ritual that nurtured every part of me and shifted the heaviness that had engulfed me. Part somatic, part dance, part breathwork, part yoga – Rulan’s classes encompass beauty and grace of body without judgement or expectation of perfection. In our group movements, we recognized the four directions, paid respect to nature, and called in earthly delights capturing the essence of feeling the body and just being on this earth. Almost hypnotic and mystic, the time of flow and softness came upon me. It truly was a one-of-kind, magical
weekend. I went solo and left with treasured friendships and feeling whole!”
