This course is designed to develop skills related to making silver jewelry. We will introduce jewelry tools and how to use them. We will explain silver soldering and discuss the torch. Surface embellishment(stamping, hammer techniques and hand engraving) will be demonstrated. Looking forward to your designing and problem solving..I am excited to share the idea of Contemporary Southwest Jewelry! The Ranch has a fully equipped silversmith shop. The surrounding environment will add inspiration to your work

Bill DerrevereBill Derreverre taught jewelry design and sculpture and 3-Dimensional art at Tulsa Community College for 45 years and retired 6 years ago. He also taught blacksmithing, pewter-smithing and Silversmithing at Ghost Ranch for 35 years. He is currently teaching and working at AHHA in Tulsa teaching jewelry design and has been working in their metals and jewelry studio for over 4 years.
