Join in Archaeological Excavation at Ghost Ranch Week 2 – G18076 and excavate a rock shelter dating to the period of the hunter and gatherer. Unearth bone tools, axes, points and fire pits. Last year shells from the Pacific traded by the ancients were found. Work in the field under shade or help in the lab to label and preserve the artifacts. Evening lectures, discussions or short excursions are included.
