Life can be challenging for all of us and finding the resources to live well isn’t always obvious . Our inability to do so often manifests in some form of addictive behavior; attempts to avoid, change, or control our painful experiences that we encounter haunt too many women. Various forms of addiction recovery have been developed to meet this crisis, pointing to solutions ranging from spirituality, community, therapy, prayer and meditation. Those who have found a lasting and meaningful form of recovery acknowledge the long journey from suffering to happiness.

During this retreat we will explore and uncover the many sorrows and joys of addiction and recovery. Utilizing a simple approach, we will develop, discuss, and practice Mindfulness and various contemplative exercises. The program will provide teaching sessions, interactive dialog, Q&A and time for solo practice on the land at Ghost Ranch.

As women we will embrace the opportunity to practice together and engage in dialogue about our experience of addiction and recovery
