April 21 Message from Paul Fogg Regarding Coronavirus

Blog, Coronavirus Updates

The NM mandate for closure has been extended through May 15. Hiking trails and all facilities are closed.

Ghost Ranch continues to monitor the spread of the COVID-19 infection across the country and remains closed to the public until further notice.  We have cancelled or postponed all Ghost Ranch programming through May.  As soon as Governor Michelle Lynn Lujan Grisham lifts the restrictions, we will cautiously re-open the ranch for day visits including hiking, tours, trail rides and museum visits. Staff members are busy now preparing for the return of our guests. Gradually we will open the facilities to overnight guests.  At this point, we are tentatively looking at resuming a lighter programmatic schedule the week of July 12th.   We will continue to monitor the situation on a national and local level and will evaluate on a week-to-week basis until we resume a full schedule.

We will continue to post updates as we move forward.  We are in this together.
