Susan Page Tillett

Susan Page Tillett is the Executive Director of The Mesa Refuge in Point Reyes Station, California, and before she led Ragdale, the artists’ community in Chicago. She has decades of experience in museum interpretation at the National Portrait Gallery, the Corcoran, and the Chicago Institute of Art, among others, specializing in American art. She also has extensive training in color theory and has offered many workshops on the language of color. She is the author of The Ragdale House Speaks and What’s To Wear, Beatrice Bird? She has co-led “The Artist’s Eye, The Writer’s Voice” workshop with Elizabeth at the Mesa Refuge in Point Reyes Station, California. She has her B.A. from Hamilton College in American Literature and her M.A. in American Studies from George Washington University.
