Sharon Franco has lived in the Southwest for over 30 years. She was born in Chicago and also lived in Mexico for five years working as a translator of films and articles. She currently teaches at the Santa Fe Community College and leads private literary discussion groups in English and Spanish. She has taught language and literature for over 20 years at various levels, from middle school through university, Elderhostel (Road Scholar) and beyond , and has translated several books. She has taught and directed the Intensive Conversational Spanish Program through the years since 1985.
