Sarah Noggle

Sarah Noggle was born and raised in the deep forests and hills of southern Indiana. She has been teaching spinning and weaving, natural dyes and the art of felt making throughout Indiana since the early 1980’s. She has enjoyed educating and demonstrating the fiber arts with Traditional Arts Indiana, the Indiana State Parks, Elder-hostel and at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. She is currently an associate textile conservator at Textile Conservation Services in Indianapolis, Indiana where she has been able to feel the sometimes, centuries-old stories of past spinners and weavers while conserving tapestry, costume, flags and other pieces of historic textile.
