Michelle Chrisman is a graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City and she studied painting at the Art Student’s Leagues of New York City and Denver, CO. Michelle has been an outdoor “Plein Air” Landscape Painter in the Taos and Abiquiu / Ghost Ranch areas for many years. She was featured in the 2008 & 2015 issues of “Southwest Art Magazine” as a noted Plein Air Painter of Northern New Mexico and the West.
Michelle is a Signature Member of Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. She is also a participating for her third year in the juried, annual event, “Cowgirl Up! ” held at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona, highlighting the “Best Women Artists of the West.” Michelle’s work can be seen in six galleries in the Southwest, including Joe Wade Fine Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Wilder Nightingale Gallery in Taos, New Mexico & Casa de Artistas Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
