Marvin M Ellison
Marvin M. Ellison is Willard S. Bass Professor Emeritus of Christian Ethics at Bangor Theological Seminary and currently Director of Alumni/ae Relations at Union Theological Seminary in New York. An ordained Presbyterian minister, he is the author of Erotic Justice: A Liberating Ethic of Sexuality, Same-Sex Marriage? A Christian Ethical Analysis and most recently of Making Love Just: Sexual Ethics for Perplexing Times. With Kelly Brown Douglas he co-edited Sexuality and the Sacred: Sources for Theological Reflection and with Sylvia Thorson-Smith he co-edited Body and Soul: Rethinking Sexuality as Justice-Love. He sits on the boards of the Religious Institute for Sexual Morality, Justice and Healing and Maine’s Religious Coalition Against Discrimination, which he founded.
