Judith Moore

Judy Moore shares the philosopy and lifestyle, ‘Do what you love, love what you do— and do it playfully’. Since retiring from teaching (Kindergarten –Grade 12 and Special Education) in 2001, Judy has become a published industry designer and writer. She also lectures, and teaches in the world of fiber arts. Ever a teacher, Judy encourages and integrates reading, writing and individual differences in her classes.

At the age of 3, Judy began to learn and enjoy the ins and outs of a needle and thread while embroidering on a dish towel. She also soon learned at that early age that she loves to work with her hands. Since that time, Judy Moore has taught quilt making and related fiber arts throughout the United States and Mexico. She employs her professional classroom teaching skills by setting her students up for success and by paying attention to each students learning style. Process is just as important to product to Judy, and she fosters the enjoyment of the creative process while encouraging students to look for ways to make their project their own—playfully.
