Jennifer Hope Kottler
Rev. Jennifer Hope Kottler is a transitional ministry specialist, certified life and leadership coach, writer, retreat leader, yoga teacher and preacher who is passionate about assisting others to deepen their walk of faith and discover what God is calling them to be and do in the world. Jen is the founder of Embody to Lead™, a holistic wellness and coaching practice that promotes health and wholeness in mind, body and spirit (www.embodytolead.com).
An ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Jen has served in interim and installed congregational positions in Illinois and New York. Additionally, Jen has served as Director of Policy and Advocacy at Sojourners in Washington, DC, and Associate Director of Protestants for the Common Good in Chicago, Illinois. She has written for Sojourners magazine, Sojourner’s God’s Politics blog, Morning Walk Media’s Fresh Day and the Huffington Post.
Jen loves to travel, practice and teach yoga, and walk with those trying to lead congregations with intentionality and grace. Jen is married to Rev. Gavin Meek who currently serves as the transitional Executive Presbyter and Stated Clerk in New Harmony Presbytery, Florence, SC.
