Rev. Cynthia Brix, M.Div, PhD (hon) is co-director of Satyana Institute and co-founder of the Gender Equity and Reconciliation International project, which has organized more than 100 workshops and trainings in nine countries for healing and reconciliation between women and men. She is an ordained interfaith minister with the Order for Universal Interfaith in New York, and was formerly campus minister at the University of Colorado (Boulder) for United Ministries of Higher Education. Cynthia has a background in women’s issues, race relations, and social justice. A long-time student of Eknath Easwaran’s Passage Meditation, she and Will Keepin lead retreats on interfaith spirituality in India, South Africa, and the United States. Cynthia co-organized the Women’s Spiritual Mastery conference in Turin, Italy, which produced a DVD entitled Cultivating Women’s Spiritual Mastery. She is co-author of Women Healing Women, and contributing author of Divine Duality.
