Constance Squires

Constance Squires is the author of the novel Along the Watchtower, which was published by Riverhead/Penguin in 2011, and won the 2012 Oklahoma Book Award for Fiction. She has been nominated three times for the Pushcart Prize, won several short story awards, and her short stories have appeared in theAtlantic Monthly, This Land, Dublin Quarterly, Arkansas Review, Bayou, and Identity Theory, among others. Non fiction has appeared in The Village Voice, Salon, Largehearted Boy, and has been featured on the NPR program “Snap Judgment.” She holds a Ph.D. in creative writing and teaches creative writing at the University of Central Oklahoma.
