Beth Dunwody

Beth Dunwody is formally trained as a Spiritual Director and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. She is a storyteller and story-catcher, skilled at recognizing the threshold moments in our lives and providing the tools necessary to summon the courage to discover what lies beyond each metaphorical gate.

“I believe our stories are deeply sacred and not only reveal our deepest longings and fears, but also have the power to connect and heal us.”

Beth has the unique ability to relate to people from all walks of life, a gift that stems from both personal life experience and a professional career that spans a wide range of settings and roles. She has worked as a corporate executive, communications consultant and producer. The projects on which she has worked have been awarded multiple national awards for creative excellence and deep commitment to diversity and inclusion.

She has also served in ministry for over 25 years within a mainline denomination. Her work has often stretched the boundaries of official church doctrine, openly embracing many marginalized segments of the community.

In 2014 Beth successfully completed the clinical track of The Daring Way™ training and certification program
in order to facilitate Brené Brown’s work on vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness, as well as, the Rising Strong™ curriculum.

As a Spiritual Director, Beth works with clients from a wide range of traditions to engage in the ancient art of sacred listening in a variety of settings and formats. She is a member of Spiritual Directors International (SDI). Read more at http://thedaringway.com/new-mexico/
