Anna Koster had the opportunity to serve as Georgia O’Keeffe’s weekend companion in 1976. Since then, Anna has enjoyed a life and career focused on art. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at San Jose State University in 1983. She taught at the San Jose Museum Art School, Community College of Denver, Denver Jewish Community Center and other venues through the 1980s. At the same time, her career as an artist progressed with solo and group shows. Then she began working in art museums, leading to her position at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University. After a 30-year museum career in California, she is coming full circle, back to Ghost Ranch, where she taught at the Festival for Arts and Crafts in 1974 and 1975.
