…In Giving We Receive
New Mexico is a land of haunting loveliness… travel away from the land and our hearts are drawn back to its beauty, its serenity, and its mystery. The earliest dwellers of these magical valleys believed that the land and its people are as one—the land is a part of us and we become a part of the land. Whatever your spiritual beliefs, the Camposanto Wall is a place of remembrance for all who have loved this land.
The Camposanto Memorial Wall
Set against the majestic red rocks of Box Canyon is the Camposanto Wall, a sacred place of contemplation and grace dedicated to the memory of those who have loved Ghost Ranch.
Although the word Camposanto or “holy field” is used throughout the world as a term for burial grounds, the Ghost Ranch Camposanto wall is not meant to be a cemetery, but a memorial site for those wishing to honor and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

Remembrance and commemoration with a Camposanto memorial plaque is a loving gesture for families of individuals who have loved their experience with the land and spirit of Ghost Ranch.
Each memorial plaque is fabricated and then installed on the Camposanto Memorial Wall. The memorial plaques are bronze and measure four by six inches. Each plaque is inscribed with the individual’s name and dates of birth and death.
The plaque’s location along with a dedication and biography is recorded in a memorial book stored in the Ghost Ranch archives. Ghost Ranch will be responsible for ordering all plaques to ensure uniformity.
