Gettin’ Down at Ghost Ranch: Annual Bluegrass Festival

Fine-tune your technique, ensemble playing and singing harmony among the sun-drenched mesas of Ghost Ranch. Low stress, high fun, all levels are welcome!
Learn the basics of bluegrass on your chosen instrument, along with ensemble playing, lead and harmony singing, performance and songwriting. Your early registration ensures your spot in your preferred workshop. Learn more.

Learn vintage cowboy hatmaking techniques from one of the most notable and established hatters in Hollywood. You will design and create your own heirloom quality felt hat. Use vintage hat blocks and equipment to form and shape hats by hand with techniques and tools of early hatters. Learn more.

Experience lessons that O’Keeffe got from her most influential teacher (Arthur Wesley Dow) and the lessons she, herself, gave novices. Choose your medium: pastels, paint, collage. Get started or get further guidance from an instructor who worked for O’Keeffe. Learn more.

Help get the Ranch ready for our busy summer season! Participants do light maintenance, construction, landscaping and other kinds of projects. You need to enjoy working outdoors and be able to do a moderate amount of physical activity (approximately five hours a day). Learn more.
