The red hills and shining rock walls greet you as you wind your way through the rich geology of Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu.
BUCKAROO RIDE
An introduction to horses and riding for children ages 4-8. Riders will receive basic instruction in horsemanship safety and riding. A total of 30 minutes with riding practice in the paddock or, round pen, $20/child.
 WRANGLER RIDE
An instructional ride for ages 9-adult. Instruction in basic horsemanship with riding practice in the paddock finishing with a short trail ride, 45 minutes, $40.
TRAIL RIDE
The Trail Ride is one hour in length and is suitable for riders 12 and older who have previous riding experience. You will travel out 3-4 miles over open country, $50.
O’KEEFFE TRAIL TOUR BY HORSEBACK
This Ride is for intermediate riders, ages 12 and up. For those who are very comfortable around horses and do not need instruction. You will ride out to the area where Georgia O’Keeffe found her inspiration, completed several paintings and owned a home. The ride begins with an introduction and preview of examples of her work. This ride and Tour is offered 9 - 11 am Tuesdays and Saturdays. The cost is $75/person.
 PRIVATE RIDES
One on one with one of our wranglers. You and the wrangler will choose the route based on your experience and interest. Possible destinations include an archeological dig site, the Padre Jim Bridge, the City Slicker Cabin, the O’Keeffe area- where would you like to go? One or more hours, $65/hour. Instruction available.
