Our Staff
Terry Martin “I listen to your body with my hands.” After 20 years massage experience, I feel qualified to say that I can give your body what it needs in this moment. My experience includes deep tissue, trigger point and cranial-sacral therapies. I am also certified in Oncology Massage. I have lived in Abiquiú for the past 8 years and am one of the original group of massage therapists in the Ghost Ranch Bodywork Program, founded in 1997.
Cairn Morrison I am an integrative bodyworker, incorporating techniques from a broad range of modalities, Polarity Therapy, Ortho-bionomy, myofascial release work, acupressure, cranio-sacral and windows of the sky, to name a few. The focus of my practice is stress reduction with deep relaxation, and contact varys from light to deep responding to your body. My work is rhythmic and hypnotic, choreographed to elicit the healing response and invite altered states. I also make the herbal bodycare products used in our spa treatments.
Susan Weber While the basis of my work is Swedish, I have studied deep tissue, cranio-sacral and traditional Thai massage in Thailand, and La Stone technique for heated stone massage, I enjoy integrating all that I have learned and tailoring it to individual needs. I also work part time for National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions, teach yoga intensives at Ghost Ranch and have my own business as well. I live in Medanales, on the Chama River, with one queenly cat named Cassiopia.
Martina Madrid My bodywork is based on years of practice and my focus is on you and what kind of touch you need right now for your body to remember your health and wholeness. I started with two years of Foot Reflexology and, after receiving my massage training, I worked at a local spa for ten years. My techniques range from Swedish, Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue to Acupressure, Trigger Point and my own intuitive release work. No technique is foolproof and each person is a new canvas of experiences which I have learned to honor and, therefore, my work is geared to remain within each person’s comfort zone. I love bodywork and feeling the body unfold during a massage. There is a sacredness to touch and I am blessed to be part of this human miracle.
