Casa del Sol is an historical adobe hacienda at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu located about two miles from the main area of the conference center. 

Individuals may select a retreat from those already scheduled at Casa del Sol or come for an individual retreat.  A spiritual advisor is available upon request.  For a list of scheduled retreats, see our online catalogue or click on Event Listings under Casa del Sol on the home page.

The home contains a living room, dining area, and kitchen, seven bedrooms (one handicapped-accessible) and four baths (one handicapped-accessible), configured in a U shape around a central patio looking directly toward the mountain Pedernal. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, and the remaining rooms have a twin bed, thus comfortably allowing small groups of 8-10 people. A maximum of 12 people may be accommodated by special arrangement only.

Most rooms are furnished with writing desks and chairs, and the house provides spaces for individual journaling and arts work.

There is a video cabinet in the living room at Casa del Sol which contains:

• a TV/VCR/DVD player
• a cassette/CD player
• flip charts
• an easel

A minimum two-night stay is requested.

The cost for individual and small group retreats is:

• $55 per person per night for the rooms and participants bring and prepare their own food in the Casa del Sol kitchen
• $80 per person per night for housing and either: Ghost Ranch provides the ingredients for meals (based on simple healthy menus created by our kitchen staff) for individuals on retreat to prepare at Casa del Sol or participants take their meals in the main Ghost Ranch dining hall (approximatley 2 miles away - transportation not provided). 

Spiritual direction is available upon request for a fee of $50 per hour. Transportation from the main Ghost Ranch conference center area to Casa del Sol is not provided. Parking at Casa del Sol is somewhat limited. Groups are asked to carpool as much as possible.
