At the Still Point: Drawing Still Lifes

Celebrate past and present time through still-lif drawing! Subjects, borrowed from the Ghost Ranch Museums, will have local themes: ancient Pueblo artifacts, Rio Grande folk art, dinosaur bones, and more. All levels welcome. Taught by Helen Byers, Maynard MA

The Museum of Anthropology is pleased to host the 12th annual show of "Las Tejedoras Fiber Arts Guild."
The exhibition will hang from July 9 through September 6. With nearly
25 members of the Las Tejedoras Fiber Arts Guild participating in the
Ghost Ranch show, visitors can expect to see a display that includes
embroidered pieces, knitting dolls, raga rugs, throws and garments such
as ruanas, scarves and hats.
The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Ghost Ranch Piedra Lumbre Center is hosting the "VSA (Very Special Artists) North Fourth Art Center" artists show from August 12 through September 13. Visitors will enjoy the natural beauty and whimsical elegance of over twenty VSA Day Arts Program artists.
The Center is located 1½ miles north of the Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center on U. S. Highway 84, and is open from 9-5 daily, closed Sunday and Monday. Contact J. J. McGowan at 505.685.4312 for more information.
