O'Keeffe had a significant history with Ghost Ranch. Her way of seeing, being, working here still affects what people experience when they come. This workshop will bring alive the ideas, habits of work, color theories, form transformation and ways of seeing that created the iconography of O'Keeffe. A field trip to the O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe will top off this wonderful week.

Pomona Hallenbeck, Elgin, TX and Ghost Ranch, NM Active in the fields of illustration, textile design, paper-making, and hand book binding, Pomona established the atelier Alleyworks in Austin, Texas.  This award-winning, internationally-known artist resides at Ghost Ranch. Carol Mackey, Chama, NM Carol is a longtime friend and staff person at Ghost Ranch, a retired Texas teacher and formerly co-coordinator (along with husband Bill) of Elderhostel and Service Corps. She is a co-producer of the "Georgia O'Keeffe and the Ghost Ranch Landscape Tour" at Ghost Ranch, loves to read and research, and is also an enthusiastic railroad fan.
