“I feel Ghost Ranch is very fortunate to have Debra Hepler As our new Executive Director. She will bring a great Balance of experience to the position. Having worked in both the Not For profit and the For profit sectors I feel she has what we need to continue Ghost Ranch’s important mission and to lead Ghost Ranch into a secure future for the Ranch’s second 50 years.” Ferol Fell, President, National Ghost Ranch Foundation.

Taken from the Summer 2007 Newsletter / THOSE WHO WAIT

“This place is a Godsend,” so said a man with heartfelt sincerity fighting cancer. He stayed at Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe while undergoing his first radiation treatment after months of chemotherapy. Had it not been for the “Those Who Wait” program, he would have had no place to rest before and after his treatments because the cost of staying in downtown Santa Fe was too high for him.

Taken from the Fall 2005 Newsletter / Homecoming by Arin McKenna
Another event to celebrate during the Ranch's 50th year is the homecoming of the former Ghost Ranch Living Musuem, now the Ghost Ranch Piedra Lumbre Education and Visitor Center. Rob Craig, Executive Director of Ghost Ranch, one of two keynote speakers, said, "It was a thrill to see a dream come to fruition through the dedication and hard work of many. We anticipate that our dreaming will lead to expanded visions of the past and future for those who come through the gate."

Taken from the Fall 2004 Newsletter / Letter From Jean
Arthur and Phoebe Pack gave Ghost Ranch to the Presbyterian Church fifty years ago. How many faces, how many people have benefited from their generous gift? Joyous faces of young people, wise faces of older people, diverse faces of color and ethnicity, strong faces of those with physical and mental disabilities, brave faces of those struggling with life’s challenges, serene faces of those celebrating the simple pleasures of life, and the many faces of intergenerational families. Could the Packs ever have imagined how their gift would benefit so many people?
