In the 1950’s Edward R. Murrow created a radio series called “This I Believe”.  He invited people to share their core beliefs, the ones that shaped their daily lives – without religious doctrine or preaching.  National Public Radio revived the series in 2005 and, since then, thousands of people have submitted brief essays (http://www.thisibelieve.org/).

Join us at Casa del Sol to explore your own passions, values, and questions.  We will share the stories that continue to shape our spirits and engage in contemplative practices that take us to the core of our stories.  By the end of the week all of us will have a greater sense of our personal beliefs.  Also, we will have completed one to two page essays highlighting our spiritual, emotional, political, and/or moral values. These will be ready to share with others and, if you choose, to submit to the NPR website.
