Life continually presents us with unwanted losses.  There is the daily loss of our thinking we can control life, of previously held religious beliefs or practices, or frightening illness or accident, the inexorable loss of youth as we age, the deaths of those we love, and finally our own dying.  How do we walk through loss?  What is our experience or lack of experience of God’s presence?  How do we pray through loss?
