The landscape of Ghost Ranch and the surrounding area richly evokes the similar landscape and settings of familiar biblical stories.  This course will provide opportunities to take the tales of Moses, Elijah, Jesus, and others into that landscape for direct "hands-on" experiences of desert spirituality.  Some experiences will be very individualized and some will involve group excursions.  Times of contemplative prayer and group reflection will fill out the experience.  Some moderate hiking (Chimney Rock) will be involved.

Ken Cuthbertson, Albuquerque, NM Ken is one of the leaders of Ghost Ranch's Desert Pilgrimage course, and a member of the Casa del Sol advisory team.  He has regularly led spiritual retreats at Ghost Ranch and elsewhere over the last decade.  He is a Presbyterian minister and lives in Albuquerque.
